Lighthouse Marine, Inc. was established in November, 1988. Wally’s Marine had previously been at this location for almost 15 years.

We started small with just 2 employees and have grown into a business with 7 full time employees serving over 3,000 customers. Lighthouse Marine is owned and managed by the partnership of Rich and Treva Swanson and Mike and Mary Averill, all living in the Gig Harbor area.

Rich and Mike have been in the marine repair business for over 35 years. Rich began his career at Tiderunner Boats in Gig Harbor and Mike started at Riverside Boat in California. Both bring to the company a wealth of knowledge and experience.

We have 3 marine technicians, Mark Corbett, Richard Scott and Michael Yochum. We receive factory training each year to update our knowledge and skills on the current products.

Mark Corbett has been with us since 1997 and is very experienced on the outboard motors we sell and service. Mark previously worked for Tiderunner Boats for approximately 7 years where he gained his expertise for Johnson, Evinrude and Yamaha outboards. Mark enjoys his profession.

Richard Scott started with us in 2006 from NW Airlines where he was a technician. With his mechanical backround he has adapted well to our marine environment.

Michael Yochum joined our Company in March of 2007. For the past 9 years, Michael had worked at Mercer Marine. Prior to that, he owned and operated Totem Lake Marine in Woodinville for 18 years. He specializes in outboard motors and traIlers. He will be working the front counter entering work orders, helping with parts and with any technical questions you may have. We feel fortunate to have Michael as a part of our team.
