Megaware Keelguard

Keelguard is a product we have been using for several years now with great results. Here are just a few of the benefits and highlights:

Sandy beaches, rocks and shores act like a grinding disk to a boat bottom and keels, wearing down the gel-coat. Once the gel-coat is worn away, serious damage begins. When moisture gets into the fiberglass laminate, it begins swelling and collecting moisture, effecting the boats performance and results in a wet and weak laminate. The moisture travels throughout the hull and continually rots the inside fiberglass laminates, stringers, and floor until the entire hull is destroyed. This can be prevented with the simple installation of Megaware Keelguard.

No special skills or tools required to install, the boat just needs to be clean and the temperature at least 65 degrees, and it may be applied to a worn keel.
