The Steersman Steering Guard is a high pressure seal and grease fitting for lubricating your steering cable, it lubricates and seals to prevent problems and extend cable life.

Tired of sticky steering or completely frozen steering? The grease fitting on most motors do not lube the steering system, so there is no seal between your steering system and the harsh elements in our marine environment.

Installing the Steersman eliminated tight, sticky steering an prevented freeze up. We have found this steering guard to be an easy and important addition to your outboards steering system. It fits most outboards. We have installed many of these over the years and have found them to be very beneficial in adding life to your current or new steering system.
