Outboard Engine (4 Stroke) – Service/Tune On Boat
1. Engine
- Check compression and spark
- Check and replace sparkplugs
- Check and adjust valves
- Run engine tuner through engine
- Lube throttle control arm
- Check charging and cooling system
- Check starter safety switch
- Spray engine with corrosion block
- Lubricate all grease fittings and steering cable
- Check tilt and reverse lock
- Check adjustment and idle speed
- Check for binding in tilt and steering
2. Lower Unit
- Check gearlube – replace if dirty
- Check for water in lubricant
- Pressure vacuum test if water present * Remove prop and check for fish line
- Lube propshaft splines
- Check shifting
3. Fuel System
- Clean and/or replace fuel filters
4. Boat
- Check boat accessories for operation
- Check drain plug
5. Trailer
- Check trailer bearings and lights
- Air tires
- Grease trailer bearings
- Lube winch, coupler and tongue jack

- 1 – 25hp – 2.25 to 3.25 Hours Labor plus parts
- 25hp and Up – 3.0 Hours Labor plus parts
