Sterndrive – Deluxe Winterize

1. Engine

• Run & flush
• Spray decarbonizer through engine
• Seal internal engine parts
• Spray engine with rust preventative
• Grease all fittings
• Check for proper operating temperature
• Test all safety features & check tilt operation

2. Engine

• Change engine oil and filter
• Check all belts & tighten if needed
• Drain all sea water & fill with antifreeze
• Clean flame arrestor
• Test FWC anti-freeze if needed

3. Lower Unit

• Change gearlube
• Remove prop, grease spline, check condition
• Check water pump output
• Remove drive, grease u-joints, gimble bearing
• Check engine alignment M/C, OMC & Cobra
• Check anodes as needed**

4. Fuel System

• Treat fuel with fuel conditioner
• Adjust carb if needed
• Check condition of fuel system
• Inspect fuel lines and replace filters

5. Electrical System

• Test battery, charge if needed
• Check water level
• Check charging system & spark output
• Check battery connection & clean if needed

6. Boat

• Check all accessories, instruments & lights
• Check steering cable operation and grease
• Remove drain plug and tape to steering wheel

7. Trailer

• Check wheel bearings & brakes if applicable
• Check lights, lube winch & coupler

** If anodes need to be replaced they are in addition to listed prices, anodes can range from $29.00 to $275.00, depending on which engine and how many need to be replaced. Replacement of anodes is at the customers request.

• 4 cyl: 4.0 to 4.5 Hours Labor plus parts
• 6 cyl: 4.5 to 5.0 Hours Labor plus parts
• 8 cyl: 5.0 to 5.5 Hours Labor plus parts
• Bravo 5.5 to 6.0 Hours Labor plus parts
